Things To Do
Hit the fitness center, or save your energy for all of the exciting things to do on the island. Take a morning jog on the beach next to turquoise water. Go snorkeling, diving and check out all of the beautiful fish. Take the kids to the playground and spend time chatting with other visitors under the warm sun. Bicycles are available to use for free. The island even has its own library, so you can exercise your mind as well as your body. Take a canoe around the island, play some ping-pong or hit the water sports facility. There is always something fun or relaxing to do for people with and without families.
Best Time To Go
Anantara Dhigu has two monsoon seasons. From December to March comes from the northeast. The other monsoon season is southwest and occurs from May to November. It is characterized by strong winds and rain.
February through April are the hottest months of the year, and they are also very busy. The next busiest time is Christmas and New Year, as well as Easter and one week in August, during the Italian holiday season. During peak seasons, peak rates can apply.
May through November has a higher occurrence of humid, cloudy and eve stormy weather. Off-season rates can apply, except in August.
If you love to go diving, the best time to go diving is pretty much year round. Marine life on the reef is more visible on the west side of any atoll from May to November and on the east side of any atoll from December through April.
